What is the difference between a flower box and a bouquet?
A bouquet arrives hand-tied and wrapped, and needs trimming and a vase. A boxed arrangement arrives finished in its own container, usually set in floral foam, and goes straight onto a table with nothing to do. How do I water a flower box?
Pour water slowly into the foam at the edge of the container until it stops absorbing, and do it daily. Foam dries from the top down and does not rewet properly once it has fully dried out. Never lift the flowers out to water them — that tears the channels the stems sit in.
Will it look exactly like the photograph?
Very close, not identical. The florist builds from what is good that week and substitutes like for like when a variety is unavailable. The style, palette and scale will match.
Is it heavy?
